To me, photography is a means to see the world. Through the lens of the camera I am able to capture moments in time that I find to be beautiful and full of emotion. Even when I don’t have a camera plastered to my face, I, more often than not, actually view the world as if I had a view finder attached to my gaze. I really like to imagine the composition of a photo wether I actually end up taking one or not.
I find a sense of grace and peacefulness when I photograph and I love to look at my surroundings with a different perspective. I find it really interesting how my eye catches on certain things that other people may not find attractive or noteworthy.
Through my photographs I wish to impart a little bit of the emotions that I felt when clicking the shutter, to the viewer who is seeing for the first time, out of the context of the place.
